Sarah's story - Landscaping, new scaping, pool scaping
After a long wet winter, Sarah and her family needed a team of landscaping experts to finish off their pool and create an awesome outdoor area to enjoy for many years to come.
Their previous builders tried to help out. Before they restricted the access by building the outdoor staircase from the upper storey deck, they created a swimming pool hole.
But because of the wet winter, by the time we had arrived to build the retaining wall to support the in-ground swimming pool, the sides of the hole that the builders had created had collapsed, leaving about a metre of sludge at the bottom.
For Sarah and her family to have their dream outdoor space, we first needed a way to clean out the muck that was sitting in the bottom of the swimming pool hole.
And there were several more challenges to overcome, including the restricted access. This meant we had to remove the boundary fence and do some earthworks on their neighbour’s side, to allow us to get a 5-tonne digger onto the site. We were very grateful for their nice neighbours!
Using the digger, we cleaned out the pool hole and drilled eighteen retaining wall piles. Once the retaining wall was complete, we handed over to Brian from Aqua Technics who worked his magic to install the pool (with the help of a rather large crane).
After the pool was successfully installed, we continued with our landscaping by laying the coping tiles and building their deck. Over the course of a few weeks, we also installed the glass pool fencing, replaced the boundary fence and landscaped their lawns and gardens.

I love that we came up with the right plan to overcome the challenges and they can now enjoy an amazing outdoor space, year-round.

Well what can we say? Bryce and his team literally saved us after we were dumped by our builder 2 weeks before Christmas. They worked the week leading into Xmas '12 and then were back on board bright and early 7th Jan '13. The deck took the 10 days quoted and looks amazing. I haven't had huge experience of building but for a 10 day job we did create a number of variations in the original plans. The boys took all this in their stride, suggesting alternatives and improvements; making our visions come to life. We love the new deck, Bryce stick up the photos. We look forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks to do the lawn now.
We bought a new place, and had to start from scratch with our landscaping. These guys came in and did an awesome job, it has totally transformed out yard from what was a builders leftover mess to a great out door living and entertainment area. I would highly recommend these guys to anyone who needs some landscaping done.
